Dravid according to me is a hard working guy. Just because he isnt performing well recently doesnt mean you take away his title. You might give the title to some new no doubt. The new team is no doubt good but we cant compare them with their seniors in the team. You have to compare 10 years back Dravid with todays new players or 10 yrs hence the new players and todays Dravid.
You yourself will realize the folly in your question and thinking.

Just because a couple of failures, which happens in the life of each and every player however great he is, Dravid cannot be written off. He was rather unlucky to be given out LBW in the first ball he faced today. Otherwise nobody can question his technique and batting skill.

Dravid is beyond criticisms. He's such a great guy.But what to do.....Everyone has ups and downs in their careers.Sourav was utterly out of form for around 3 years , yet he managed to find a place in the team. And sehwag???What did he do???The same thing. So my opinion is that these few failures will not crack the wall.He will come back again with a bang.Come on Drav.....

In test cricket dravid is ofcourse the wall - now he lose some concentration thats why he droped his captaincy - but never forget that he is the best in longer format - it is not easy to break if he gets 10-20 runs on board. for a failure of 2 matches we cannot complain such a talented cricketer - he was always a shadow to tendulkar - we can avoid him for the rest of the oneday team but not in the test cricket.

yes, he is still wall of india , because , the way of style is completely different from others.
he plays very COOOL. that 's the advantage for any team.
he always try to play groundshots, which no other player play like that, specially in indian team. (minimum risk, maximum profit)
He is best at 2nd down position.
now in this series, may be bad performance, but i have confident that he play very well with the pakistan team.
all the best dravid, and indian team.

From his current form,it looks as if Dravid is having a bda time. But we should give him some time.
Even greatest players have gone through a lean patch including current greats like Sachin,Saurav,Sanath Jayasuriya , Adam Gilchrist , Ricky Ponting , Stephen Fleming etc .

Solid wall or not he is short of confidence, he might not have the fighting qualities Tendulkar & Ganguly had, to prove the selectors and Greg Chappell wrong, if at all they drop him

i think it wouldn`t be easy for a cricketer of dravids stature to quit captians post (cuz of politics obviously) n be playin under the new captian who has won T-20 world cup in his first series as captian...
its tat pressure tats been showin up in last 3 matches we saw..
but seeing the way dravid was playing before all this mess started.. i get a feeling tat not only he would be back to the form soon , we would get to see the best of dravid real soon.

The wall is no more going to be a wall or solid wall,it is worn out due to the treatment given by Board. So they have to think to build one.
