go to your supervisor and tell him you want more responsibility. do NOT say "i'm bored". more rather say "i think i've achieved all i can in this position, is there somewhere you can place me where my people skills would be more effective?" initiative is the key to getting ahead. bosses look for stuff like that. the more you do, the better it makes them look to their boss. work the job, and the job will work for you...

you should consider to keep this job and go back to college . you have the prefect job to finish a degree and go on for more. use the time to further your career .
if you aren't planning to go to school to get better qualified , then i would say you can look for opportunities to prove youself and take on new work at your current job
go and ask your boss what you can do to really help them more ... you have time / see they are working so hard you would like assist more .
ask other people on your team / anyone that seems overworked / if there is no one on the team / then you go outside team to another department and do any work that helps your company . someone will have some work to do somewhere in the company and will LOVE to have someone that will step up and do something more.
look for ways that you can add value -
your manager may not be very good , or experienced or know how efficient you really are . no need to shoot the boss ... buy try to share that you have more time , am available to take on more work . explain you sometimes feel you are an underutilized resource .
be careful what you ask for though LOL .. you will end up with the job of 20 people LOL. you will be sooo popular and sought after.

Why not use the internet at work to research courses? Or how much call centre people get paid? Or other jobs, if you're not closely supervised? I can't think you'd be happier in a call centre. Sitting with a headset on, talking to strangers, probably in front of a computer too. Remember most jobs are routine after a time.

Sounds like a job I'd like!!
O.k. if your frustrated then start looking for work instead of playing games at work.
Take in a newspaper with you and start making a list of things that you would like to do.
Update your resume and do a cover letter.
Plan on taking a class at the local college while your still at this job to help improve your skills and knowledge towards a better fulfilling job.
I tend to think that you may want to look for employment as a Administrative Assistant in the Marketing and Communications Dept.

You could search for another job. But in the meantime I would keep the job you have...I wonder if it would be possible for you to search the net for a job while you are at work? You make the decision but protect the job you have in the meantime. I know so many people that are out of work at this time. Just try to avoid having to regret making the wrong decision. Best of Luck

You either need to find an "outlet" for your frustration outside of work, so you can cope with the boredom, or consider quitting your job.
Keep in mind, many people really don't like their job to the extent they could do it over a long period of time happily. Everyone needs a way to unwind, to overcome the negative feelings from work, whatever they may be.

As for starting to be a member of a decision centre, i might propose you to no longer. it particularly is a lifeless, boring job and in case you have night accountability,it particularly is worse nevertheless. You replace right into a digital VAMPIRE. an entire social outcast.reason you will initiate residing your total life in opposite.
