I own a shop, and we do a lot of restoration work. You have a highly sought after vehicle!!! Do yourself a favor, and paint it back the original color, and if you can do it with the same kind of paint that came on it. You'll be glad you did. I would never go to another color on one like that. I would do a frame off restoration, and try my best to put everything back just like the day it rolled off the assembly line. I would stay away from the clear coat paints. They look good, but wait a few years, and it is a disaster to get the clear coat off of it, and if you paint over it, the clear will still crack (spider web) underneath the new paint, and look like crap. I hope you realize what a rare car you have, and will do the right thing here. Most of these cars belong in a show somewhere, as they are rare, and a joy to drive.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

Sweet looking combo to match the black top would be Red car with double racing stripe in black down the middle of the hood and out the back.

Your car already stands out from the rest. I know how to make it get noticed. Its cheap and not disappointing. Primers come in three colors; gray, black and red. Maybe choose the red primer and then a triple coat of clear finish. it is not that expensive at the body shop. only on vintage cars does this really make the car.

The color also depends on the interior. Assuming you have black or white interior then Orange or Red would go good.

depends on your interior color.Since the SS models had allot of chrome. I think any dark color will work. How about metallic black cherry?
That would look great!

hi... Yellow constantly is going with green. in case you like heat colorations... % this. pink would be confusing to %, because of the golf green... it might desire to be a reasonably solid pink shade... no longer easy. Orange gets previous... somewhat quickly. Turquoise may well be heat or cool. If the comforter is a heat green ( leaf green) or a cool green (blueish) then the turquoise will could desire to be chosen to compliment. sounds like this is going to be a lovable mattress room!
