The oldest existing zoo is located on the grounds of the famous Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria. It is called the "Schonbrunn Zoo" which was founded in 1752.

ZSL London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo. It was opened in London on April 27, 1828, and was originally intended to be used as a collection for scientific study. It was eventually made open to the public in 1847. Today it houses a collection of more than 651 species of animals.

I don't live in San Diego, but I'd pick a zoo, because you won't get wet, like you do at Sea World - unless you're prepared for your 1 yr old to get wet. More animals at the zoo. Less exhausting...ya got me, I have no idea.

it is the Philadelphia zoo in pennsylvania from 1859 it was not open till 1874 bec of civil war it had the first male elephant ever exiibited in united states in1888 it had the first orangutan birth in an American zoo and also the 1st birth of cheetas today it ha 1600 animals from around the world some of its exibits are african plains abphibian and reptils house bear country and carnivore kingdom it has acessories to treat an hummingbird to a polar bear it is working from131 years!!!!!!
