It's not bad. I'm not sure if it's scarrier, it's more graphic that's for sure. I saw the first one when i was young soooo there is nothing like Mike giving you nightmares at that age lol. It was a good remake. But thats what it was a remake.

Dont listen to the idiot above zob zombie is one of the best at least he shows how micheal became who he was in all the other films i seen it 3 times at the theater it is truly a gory movie and should have been it the first halloween,,,,,,,,,,,go see it you be the judge

puuuuh-lease!!! rob zombie really is something aint he? dont watch that mess! nobody can redo a classic as such! rob zombie thinks cuz he made house of 1000 corpses that he did something and now he thinks a lil too highly of himself-his previous movies were funny if anything and that is ALL.he should NEVER attempt this type of social suicide again!!!Halloween was a film made long ago by people with talent-watch it instead.

It's pretty good. But it's not as good as you think it will be. Like, he kills everybody too fast. There really isn't that much suspense, And it's not as scary. But it is worth the watch. Rob Zombie is the greatest person alive. Besides Marilyn Manson...
