Here are the probables: Sehwag: he is an experienced player and a deserving candidate for the captaincy but he is very lay back as a captain and I don't think he is as street mart as Dhoti is. Ghambhir: He can a the captain but I don't know what his repor with the other players.. Can he be a true leader? I don't know for sure. Raina: well, I saw his as a captain but he made many mistakes/blunders so I think he can wait for a couple of years for training. Harbhajan: He is experienced and a fighter too, but there is something about his personality that just doesn't suit with the responsibility of a captain. Yuvraj Singh: He would love to lead the team and he has some qualifications that some others don't but at the moment he is struggling to maintain his position in the team. Any extra burden would hurt his game. Sachin: He is perfect but he himself is unwilling to be the captain. He was the very good captain for Mumbai team but he is not in the race. I think it would work as a great surprize and intimidating to send him for the world cup as the captain.

I dfo not think there is anything wrong with his captaincy. People who criticise his captaincy should keep in mind the fact that he has just taken over as Captain and it takes time for him to settle down in his new rold and as such he should be given sufficient time before making any assessment about his captaincy.
