i don't believe in this at all, especially as most above said; when the person is dear and close to your heart, but he's away from your sight for some reasons..........this doesn't mean at all that they are out of my mind !!

on the contrary, your mind is always obsessed with them, wishing them the best wishes, thinking and dreaming when you'll be together or united again.

No, never. I don't believe that is true if you really love the person in question. Like sweet Amira said, my dear mother in law passed away almost a year ago now and I still remember her fondly every day. She is in my heart and in my thoughts and will never be forgotten. Special people like her and like our beloved Egyptian princess are never forgotten no matter how much time passes.

Even with my dear hubby, whenever he was away for a while even if it was just a week I would get so depressed I wouldn't eat or sleep. I'd cry for no reason and hug his clothes! lol So no, if you truly love the person you never forget them no matter how long the distance or the time.

With long separation time usually most of the relations faint except the sincere and faithful one.

Believe me it depends on the persons, not the time or place.
Sincere and faithful friends will keep the friendship alive in their hearts, no matter how long or far they are away of sight.

I have experienced that in my life, and till now I have relation with few close friends despite the long long time and distance that has and still separating us, they are real friends and I praise them with every passing day.
On the other hand, my relation with many other friends had gradually fainted and eventually seized, because their friendship was not deep in heart and not genuine.

It depends on the case. If it's a lover, a family member then no never happens. But if it's a friend, after a while yes this friend goes out of your mind showaya b showaya and kol feen w fene you remember him and talk to him....

No I don't believe that. My mom & my brother are out of my sight, except for their photo's & their possesions but they are always in my mind & always will be.

I believe they are both in Paradise now!

Edit

Happy eid to you too my dear friend & everyone of my friends here

Love Amira x

No I do not believe so at all. I'm totally against that saying. I believe that distance makes the heart grow fonder.

It depends on how much & how true I love the person ....
I've passed through both cases :

*With those whom I truely love >>>> with every passing day,my heart grows fonder & I terribly miss them

*With those who don't mean so much to me >>>> then,YES, their being out of my sight, make them out of mind by time passage [but those are rare cases]

There isn't one rule in all cases. If the case like what mentioned by the princess, that makes the person always in mind but in the background.
In other cases attitudes are different.

This does not apply for those who are special to me, those whom I really love from the bottom of my heart.
