Love is a living, breathing, constantly evolving life force.

You feed it with the love of those around you, and you keep it healthy by loving yourself, and those close to you.

If you deprive it, it will die, and leave you a bitter person.

I believe it is! I believe there are spirits that embody a personification, or manifestation of sorts. Such as the Angel of Love, Spirit of Hate, etc. "What's love with out the giving, and life without the living, ...just an Imitation of Life.

Love is not a spirit that possesses us.

We create it within ourselves.

It lives or dies by our command.

It lives only by our thoughts and deeds.

Love is the ink on a page. It is nothing until the reader finds it.

Good question!!

Yes, one may say love is like a living thing in many ways...... it is born, it grows, it needs care and maintenance and it can also die if not duly cared for. Above all, it is as unpredictable and inconsistent as any living thing can be.

No. Aristotle would say it is "predicable" of a thing capable of loving. So the predicate is a predicate OF something, which must necessarily exist first in order to have any "predicable" of it.
