Coz I am Australian and I prefer cricket, I have been to 1 MLB game (Angels v Detroit) and it was pretty fun. But I went to an ODI (one day international) and had a GREAT time.

lol..I'm Indian studying in America and all they know of Cricket is that chirpy insect in the lawn...an average American is very poorly informed about things that don't concern him and is narrow-minded about trivia like this.

But yes, cricket is become a very popular sport in US universities because they have a high percentage of Indian students and subcontinental population. Some immigrants from Australia and NZ have also carried the game this part of the world.

There used to be some historic cricket clubs in New England region but they have become more of museums and tourist attractions. A few Americans have become intrigued by cricket of late especially those who already have prior experience in baseball (cricket is well-known among players in the MLB circuit) but it will be sometime more before cricket becomes more popular here.

For Americans, baseball is the most popular game and cricket is not at all popular.

well i being an american like cricket though . and my favourate teams in internatonal cricket are india & australia.20-20 crickt is just fantastic.
