My 12 year old daughter fractured it today at school playing Gailic Football.

She had x-rays done and has to leave it in a splint for 3 weeks and wont heal for 6 weeks.

She just wanted me to tell you all that.

Ouch. No, I've never broken or fractured a finger but I have a friend who fractured one and she wore a small splint. See a doctor and get that pinky taken care of ASAP. It might not grow back straight if you don't have a splint on it.

OMG, my poor baby :(((( I hope she isnt in too much pain. Give her a hug for us!

I haven't fractured anything yet (physically) but I swear I've done something to my elbow. I fell on it 6 weeks ago and it still hurts.

I broke my baby finger when I was a kid...I got it slammed in a car door. It was never fixed and how my finger hooks in towards my fingers, but no one really notices unless I point it out to them. Tell your daughter I feel her pain.

I broke my middle finger on my left hand when I slid back into first base to avoid a pick off in high school... it was quite painful.

no never have.... when I was young had my middle finger on my right hand cut with a push lawnmower (had to have stitches) then about 5 years later had the same finger hit with a rubber mallet and had to have stitches in the same spot....
