Just what is going on. Who are the McCanns protecting and who is protecting the McCann's. This case has very sinister and disturbing undertones. The gagging of the press and SPECIAL BRANCH protection. It is unprecedented. These are the two main suspects in a very serious crime WHO HAVE YET TO BE CHARGED. I don't believe the truth will ever come out as they obviously have friends in VERY high places. This is going to be a cover up. My question is, do you agree that this case has sinister undertones and that the McCanns are being protected for some reason.

Andrew T2, I find the swinging part a bit difficult to believe, especially Clarence being involved. Have you got a link that shows that Praia da luge is a swingers resort. I just can't belive it without something to back it up. Apart from that I agree with you entirely regarding the McCanns involvement.

I agree trancebabe, I've said all along that this case is involving some very powerful people behind the scenes. Whta I'd like to know is why? what on earth are they covering up?

You may be right Trancebabe. I have never been able to figure out the support these two got.
I'm hoping though who ever their freinds are there is only so much they can do to protect these two especially as the whole tawdry truth seeps out into the public domain like bodily fluids from a decaying corpse.
I think the truth goes something like this....
Praia de Luge is renowned as a Swingers resort.
Portugal is known for its tolerance of diverse sexual tastes. All sections are catered for. Praia de Lug caters for swingers.
Do not cry foul unless you’ve done some basic research.
The McCanns and Clarence Mitchell swung together.
They had a problem with being disturbed during their adult games.
It was too risky have several groups of children asleep with babysitters as if there was a problem the group might e disturbed in the middle of their activities.
Solution. Put all the kids in one place and sedate them.
Madeleine gets an overdose.
Problem: if this gets out we are all in trouble. Doctors will be struck off for stealing sedatives, administering sedatives, people will be embarrassed. We are all equally guilty.
Solution concoct an abduction story which we all will stick by no matter what.
Help Gerry and Kate hide the body until they can dispose of it later.
Set up fund, make a million and laugh at he gullible British public.

Yes, I agree with you there is something going on behind the scenes. The whole situation is unprecedented.
What is worrying is all the people who believe what they've been reading in the press for the last 5 months, and what the media have actually covered up.
I really hope the whole thing blows apart, and we find out the truth and poor Madeleine can get the justice she deserves - Madeleine has been forgotten in all of this.

I agree, it doesn't matter how much they try to cover it up, it is disgustingly obvious by now, and it's not just the McCanns, a lot of people are involved in this sinister business.

Phew, I just don't know anymore, its getting really complicated.
I do think she died that night, as a result of an accident, but this swinging with high up people is all too much I think at present.
