ok so ive been on mercilon for about 2 months, the first month i had spotting, and the second (september) was fine. im due to have my period on sunday, since i take my last pill today, on thursday. however, i just went to the toilet, and saw a spot of blood.
i think its my period.
how come i have them now ?
i do admit to being on anitbiotics for the month of september because of an infection i caught, and having missed a pill due to illness once 2 and half weeks agom but i dont know what to do.
do i take my last pill today, and then go through with the 7 tablet free days? will i be pregnancy protected once i start my new pack ?

Being on antibiotics can affect the effectiveness of the pill by causing some spotting during the time one is on the antibiotic.
I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor as well to see what they say.
