then would you change the vows to in sickness and in health until 10 years from now?
NO... the marriage license does expire, typically in a year if it has not been signed and made a binding contract...
that is the problem with kids today... always looking for the easy way out and not willing to work on things... don't rush into the decision to get married and you won't regret it so much later that you don't want to work on it if things go awry...

No I don't think there should and I also think people should have to try marriage counselling before divorcing unless there is a very good reason for divorce as too many people just give up on trying.

I think its a BRILLIANT idea and think how many divorces it would save, How nice the men would be too us every 8 - 10 years and how much it would increase the bridal business. Can't we make it every three years though?

but then what would you do in the case where you are with your soul mate where 'expiration' doesnt even surface??
Oh I know, u can opt for 'extension'... should it be 5 years extension each time, u know just in case if your 'soul mate' turns to be 'sour mate' after the first extension??

It is Fools like us ....who nominate courts , police , So called elders , so called lawyers .....Licenses , Marriages , Certificates ...................all these are our creations ....our bullshit creations
Do Dogs , cows , crows , pigeons , lions , ..............fish ............Need Licenses , do they need certificates , do they need marriages , do they need lawyers , do they need schooling , do they need courts ???
why do we need bull **** self-harming things
we just need ..........Love .......lets share
We need food .......lets hunt together , earn together ...lets share food and wealth like the animals do
We need to love each other .........like the beautiful animals ..........lets love each other
We need to be divine ........like the animals ........lets try to be blissful like them
Why the hell do we need Licenses for every thing
Licenses are forms created to exploit and make income for certain section of people
What does a poor person do ...who does not know english or law??
So lets have our heart clean first
lets ......love every one
lets ........have Relationships and not Exploitingships
Lets have ............the beauty of nature ...............seen in our activities
