A CMOS IS A SMALL RECTANGULAR CHIP WHICH IS LOCATED ON UR MOBO
ITS JOB IS TO DETECT WHETHER THE HARDWARE COMPONENTS ARE INSTALLED AND CORRECTLY CONFIGURED.
THERE ARE MANY CHIPS ON UR MOBO TO IDENTIFY THE CMOS YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THESE STEPS
IT WILL BE NEAR THE CMOS BATTERY
IT WILL BE A DETACHABLE CHIP EMBEDDED IN A IC SOCKET SO IT CAN BE EASILY REPLACED.

It is usually a small chip attached to the motherboard. As to where it is just depends on where the manufacturer placed it,
If you want to clear this memory, just remove the round battery you see on the motherboard for a few seconds and put it back.

It's in a black rectangular chip about the size of your pinkie nail. It's often labeled, and it's usually near the battery if you have one.
