I guess that would depend on your perception of the disadvantage at hand. Are we ever at a disadvantage when there is advantage to gain? You can turn the situation around to your advantage more times then not. Change the perception, and the advantage will be clear....

sure you might try harder or get an advantage because someone thought you were at a disadvantage.
