always try too and dong get wrapped up in the saga of life. in order to live moment by moment and fully sometiems you have to take a step back in order to see teh connections between the moments. otherwise all you are doing is concentrating on the nitty gritty and there truly is more to life than that!

I think it can be dangerous to have the idea that you should live life fully, moment by moment - what does this actually mean? Does it mean that you do whatever you want in your pursuit of happiness, at the expense of others? Does it mean you never stop still for long enough to be idle? Does it mean that as soon as you have a bad day you sink to the depths as you have not met your high expectation of living life to the full for that moment? I think it can encourage selfishness and manic behavior. But understanding that life is precious, and appreciating the time you are living in is a great gift. Enjoy your busy moments, enjoy your idle moments. And learn that nothing is a waste if you use it correctly.

omg! i have been thinking about this so much lately, the two ones are "live in the moment" and "live life to the fullest" what the hell do these things mean??? how do you not "live in the moment?" do some people pass away on and off? does this mean sometimes it's not ok to be in a bad mood? and live life to the fullest? what am i suppose to be jumping out of planes? doing cartwheels in the yard all day? i really dont understand these sayings that are being pushed on me all the time, i think there bull **** sayings,,,unless someone can explain them in detail to me,,,i dont know how to improve my life by living in the moment, and i sure didn't know it was an option!!!!! luv ya skyat, there im in the moment,,,lol

I don't know what that means but I've heard it often. I most often hear it when unbelievers explain how their lives have meaning.

From the above answer, I would guess it means keeping busy and not thinking about the future. But it doesn't help the explanation to just break down the day, task by task, and add the word "fully" in front of each task. I am writing this paragraph. No I am fully writing this paragraph. I don't get it.

Yes fully getting up in the Morning and then fully do your task. So fully ( and this part I truly do) fully enjoy the time with your kid before he goes to school, then fully concentrate on your work. And then in the afternoon or evening when you come home, fully enjoy to clean up and cook and doing the dishes and all this deeply fulfilling things. And if you answer yahoo questions, fully concentrate on them for example.
Living life fully means probably to live fully in the present, and experience every aspect of life, be it work or play or sadness or happiness fully.

I would rather live life moment by moment as it unfolds. This way I can better appreciate the little things in life that bring joys and not burden myself with tomorrows cares. Life would then be simple and easy and so uncomplicated.

Living life fully moment by moment is a hard thing to do. Perhaps, it would be great for me to be able to do that, but my mind is elsewhere (past and future) and not always in the present. Then again I am a dreamer - so I am somewhere else.

Here are the lyrics to Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell:

Rows and floes of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons evrywhere
Ive looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on evryone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
Ive looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
Its cloud illusions I recall
I really dont know clouds at all

Moons and junes and ferris wheels
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As evry fairy tale comes real
Ive looked at love that way

But now its just another show
You leave em laughing when you go
And if you care, dont let them know
Dont give yourself away

Ive looked at love from both sides now
From give and take, and still somehow
Its loves illusions I recall
I really dont know love at all

Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say I love you right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
Ive looked at life that way

But now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads, they say Ive changed
Well somethings lost, but somethings gained
In living evry day

Ive looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
Its lifes illusions I recall
I really dont know life at all
Ive looked at life from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
Its lifes illusions I recall
I really dont know life at all
