Processing monthly bills in excel.?

Question

I have recently joined a companies finance dept and the the first task i goes like this:
The company gets telephone bills every monthand there will be caller ids for these. So it would be something like 6000 calls assigned for about 150 caller ids.
Whats my job is to process this data such that it shows no. of calls per each id, total amount for each and the total of the minutes spoken.
Do i need to know v - look up to do this?

Note: I do know that theres microsoft training program but donno who session to take exactly.
If someone can write the steps to do this breifly, it would be of great help.

It sounds like you need to create a pivot table. They are really easy to set up. Just look up pivot tables in Excel's help and it will direct you to a Microsoft website where you can learn how to create a pivot table really easily.
