That's what Drs do. I have Fibromyalgia and Drs just give me pain pills and suggest I exercise when I can't even get out of the bed on some days and yet I am still suffering. I even lost my job this year because of this stuff. Drs don't try to find underlying causes because they would rather give you pills so you will keep coming back to them. If they cure you then you won't need them anymore and take money out of their pockets. Now, some Drs may not be like this but there are some that are. Most Drs tell me there is no cure. I told them I am not asking for a cure I just want to feel halfway descent so I can live my life and maybe go back to work at least part time. Keep changing Drs is the only advice I can give you. You might find an honest one and a good one that knows what is going on. Don't give up.

keep away from Dr Quack! Get another opinion... my wife has shoulder pain and has for the last year. Her previous doctor said it was just stress from moving to a new area and that it would settle after a while. He gave her medication for the pain after a second visit. She got a new doctor, had an MRI and they found a tear in her rotator cuff... we will be suing Dr Quack and I'll let you know the results

YOU are in charge of your body!
If you are not happy with your doctor find someone who will listen to you!
You know best what works for you and what doesn`t! They`re just taking the easy way out, god forbid they have to take the extra time and find out what`s really going on!
You`ve been to two Doctors...keep trying! Research it online! Whatever it takes, Painkillers just mask the problem and is not a permanent solution to anything.
Good Luck

Yes, I've been through this. It gets so annoying. Ask them to do blood work or some X-rays on what ever it is that is bothering you. Pain killers are only masking the problem. He needs to get to the root of the problem.

Sadly that is the way of the medical world today. Just prescribe the most popular drug ......whatever the drug rep is pushing this week.
I had the same problem about a year ago.

Doctors are puppets being controlled by the drug manufacturers. It does not serve the drug manufacturer to cure you, merely to treat your "disease" with drugs for the longest time possible.

because that would mean they have to take a risk of being sued if they get it wrong
also the drug companies have a lot of money and influence over the medical industry...

trial and error with the meds??
thats what happens alot now with modern day medicine. i suppose they are trying to work out what type of dosage you need, then from there to work out what illness/injury you may have which requires that much medication? sound dumb but thats how it works. :(
