It all has to do with your posture. If you have correct posture and balance you can walk on heels. For practice try using small larger point heels and move on to skinnier taller heels. Practice is the only way you are going to get better.

Firstly, even before you try to walk, you must make sure that you are in total confident of yourself while wearing the heels.
No hunching of back, that is. Reason being is because hunching detracts one from her balance.
Step 2: Start with a pair of kitten heels instead of those sophistically tall ones. Since they are shorter, the balance would be in better control.
Step 3: For beginners, it is important that the heels bought are solid and steady. Here's how to test them: Lift one of the heels up about 20 to 30cms away from the flat, un-carpet floor and release. Make sure the heel is steady when released and not wobbling from side to side. Repeat for the other one. This is to make sure the bottom part of a heel are made flat and not unbalance.
Step 4: To make sure you are not hunching, lean your back against the wall till you get the hang of what a straight back is.
Step 5: Put a book on top of your head, (just like the conventional technique of cat-walking! Hahs!) chin 90 degrees, shoulders relax and walk in a straight line, whilst balancing the book. Try it barefooted first since you are new to this.
Step 6: Try it with the heels upon getting used to Step 5.
Good luck!

fisrt,u gotta have a positive mindset.tell urself u can do it..believe u r confident to walk in them..and then practice..practice...that's the best thing..yes,i agree with them..i think its better if u practice wearing shorter ones first and then go higher..if u already have the heels ur gonna use to a program, wear it around the house so ul get used to it..coz sometimes, even the certified high heel walking girls still get uncomfy if they're wearing something new..
'
ur feet might hurt so i think its wise if u put on some foot cushions like scholl

Practise with lower ones at first and then work your way up to the height you want. Walk on carpet or something with a bit of grip so you don't slip over. You've got to feel safe while you practise. Keep yourself upright in your spine and lengthen your neck so you have a good posture. The main thing is to feel comfortable with no fear of overbalancing - so it does take some practice. Shoulders loosely back, pelvis slightly forward with your bum downwards (no back arch or bend) and then walk from your hips with your weight straight under you, leading with your heel. You get a nice languid walk and it looks really good from behind too. (lots of wolf whistles) Whatever you do, don't crouch, watch your feet or walk from your knees only or you'll walk like Margaret Thatcher (ie.like a duck ) Enjoy.

When I first started modelling,I used to complain about heels.I was adviced to wear them around the house so that you get used to being in them before you hit the runway or the streets.I guess you should do the same. Also, use a mirror to check your posture for slouching and other such mistakes. You'll get there ,sweets..just take it one sexy step at a time.
