You're saying your not turned and and then you say you were turned on! Getting wet is a usual by-product of getting turned on but some women just don't get that wet or just don't maintain that state. It's not a mental problem but a physical one.
Be honest with the guy your with, ask him to take more time and if that fails then your condition is medical and you will simply have to ask your partner to understand that you have to recourse to a lubricant or other aid. Either way, go see your doc and see what they have have to say. My guess is that is you are feeling pleasure and you are getting turned on, you might be the kind of woman who just doesn't get wet. You're not alone here and certainly not a freak. Don't put so much emphasis on the state of your inner arousal being an indication of your sexual readiness. No matter how much foreplay and caressing, my previous g/f never got wet. She was medically incapable. It was okay, we improvised. Neither of us came to see that as a failure and neither should you.

Not uncommon to experience a little dryness at an inappropriate time. Just like some guys have an occasional inappropriate "soft" moment. I wouldnt start to think that anything was wrong just yet. There are plenty of moisture replacements on the market that you can keep by the bedside. Or you could steer him downtown the next time so you can be sure that all is well lubricated :P

According to Web MD vaginal dryness can often be caused by deficiency of the female hormone estrogen. Other causes are certain medications, hypothyroidism, certain skin conditions or vaginitis. You might want to see a doctor to make sure there is not an underlying medical condition causing your vaginal dryness.
In the meantime, you and your partner should invest in some high quality lube. Not only with this lubricate your vagina, it can also increase sensitivity and make sex more fun.

Some women are just like that. Nothing wrong with a little KY Jelly to help out.
Try to relax, maybe you are thinking about it too much and making it worse.
As far as 'finishing', a lot of women can't do that either. The best thing to do is figure out what you like and tell your man what it is. Then teach him how you do it (or how you would like him to do it). It may take time but I bet you will get over your problem.
I had a lot of lovers when I was younger that just didn't do it for me. As I got older, I learned how to teach my partner what to do. Of course that goes for him, too.

I am not sure what causes this. My guess would be hormones shifting at differant times of the month.
I do this off and on too. What I find helps is alot of lube!
KY makes several great lubes, some with warming and some with tingles. I like just plain lube called 'Slippery Stuff' you can get it at most novelty shops.

you are nervous......is that ur first time? try watching porn videos before meeting ur bf.....that will allow u to be turn on easily.....do not worry whether u will be dry as the more u worry....the more it will happen......do not show that u are worrying as u will make ur partner feel uncomfortable and it will result in bad sex....loving the guy doesn't mean u will love having sex with him....its lust (plus love for most people) that makes someone have sex....

Make sure you're not taking things too fast. Slow down, let it build up longer. Don't just jump right into the sex, spend enough time on foreplay. ; )

Your body is not the same throughout the month. It could be something with your hormones. Our hormones go up and down. At one moment youre on your period, then your ovulating, then your about to be on your period....etc. It's just a mess! lol So I say blame it on the hormones!

are you on any medications? Anti-histimines and anti-deppresants are just two of the medications that can cause you to be dry. Also, stress can be a big player in that as well.
