Moral degradation and indifference are the root causes. Kids need love and guidance.

I think it's hard to answer why, but even though it seems to be an epidemic, it's not something totally new.
I believe the best solution is to promote tolerance and inclusion of people who are different. It seems like most of the kids who do stuff like this are considered outsiders by the "cool kids." Schools need to focus on not allowing for social intolerance and stop placing so much worth on athletic achievement.

Evil is all around us and I just can't give you an answer to that. You never know what is going on in the person's head next to you...that's why you have to be aware. I believe it has a lot to do with the upbringing of these children. Many children who act out like this have suffered physical and mental abuse. Either way it does not excuse their behavior, but it makes you wonder what their motives are for committing such horrible crimes. What has this world come to?

The solution is for more people to address problem children. Teachers are always quick to scold or ignore the ones who are poverty-stricken or violent, instead of helping them.

I know isn`t it tragic...
I wish I knew why there are so many troubled kids out there and how to help them.
I mean, you blame the parents, you blame TV, violent Videogames, Music with violent lyrics, when is it going to end

I don't believe in physical violence but it seems when the paddle was taken from the school things have gone down hill.
