The best country CDs I've bought this year are Brad Paisley's "5th Gear" and Jason Aldean's "Relentless". In general the pickins haven't yet been good, but we do have new Brooks and Dunn and a Faith Hill hits package, plus a real good review on the new John Fogerty album that's supposed to sound just like the old CCR for the first time.
I will buy these and let everyone know how they are.

The Legend of 1900 {soundtrack} ~ Ennio Morricone
really beautiful piano music :)
And most of the Jethro Tull back catelogue.
a wonderful mix of Folk, Rock, and Prog :)

I really enjoy Still Feels Good by Rascal Flatts, but I think the new Blake Shelton cd, "Pure BS", is fantastic.

As far as new stuff, I just love Stoney LaRue's Red Dirt Album. Now that is some AWESOME material. This man understands exactly what country music is supposed to sound like.
