I know a site listing books by 100 (now 99) living authors. I go to yr 9 in a boys school, so there's not much 'girly' books on there, but I still strongly recommend trying some of the books as they are interesting to read.

Have you read the whole uglies series? (the uglies, the pretties, the specials and the extras, this one is new.) I also loved Scott Westerfeld series Midnighters Series and Peeps series.

Here are some other good series (I mostly read series)

If you are into wicca or witches then daughter of the moon by Lynne Ewing (any thing from Ewing is good) or Sweep Series by Cate Tiernan

I enjoy The It girl series by Cecily von Ziegesar (byt he author of gossip girl) A-list novel by Zoey Dean

I like V.C.Andrew although sometime i think it is too sexal

I loved Au Pairs Series by Melissa de La Cruz

Caroline Cooley is a great writer and has some good series.
(I did not really like Janie series)

If you like scary book you should read any R.L Stine teen book series

My favorite series is theSeven Deadly Sins Series by Robin Wasserman (it is not bad in any way)

You should read any book by Ellen Hopkins (Burned, Crank, inpulse, glass..) They are big books but each page is designed different (not to much read). one of my Top 5 Favorite writers.

I really like East of Eden by John steinbeck (not in a series)

Looking for Alibrandi is a fairly popular book for young women, about a 17 year old Sydney girl growing up, dealing with issues of identity and all the rest of it.
The girls in my class liked it, i found it amusing here and there, like when she cracks an arrogant girl in the head with a chemistry book. lol gold.

There is a wonderful book by Edith Wharton called Ethan Frome which is a short but sad love story that is a classic. I cry every time I read it. I bet you will too.

I loved the Baby-Sitters Club books when I was your age.

There is also a series by V.C Andrews about four orphan girls (http://www.completevca.com/lib_orphans.shtml). I think that all of the latter works by V.C Andrews are aimed at girls your age.

Diane Duane's Young Wizards series has a little of everything in it -romance, adventure, drama, angst - you name it.

I've read everyone of them and love them all.
