Like we have a chart for music, do we have a similar thing for books?

Although not a definitive list as it's only one supplier, Amazon publishes list of Best Sellers updated on an hourly basis of any category of book it sells.

Find the book you are interested in, see what category or categories it falls under on their pages, and the top 100 best sellers in that category are available to peruse.

As I say not definitve, but certainly a good starting point, also you might find the book or books you are after at a discount price.

The review section of the Guardian newspaper does a list of bestselling books every saturday

Anything that states best seller.... on any book websites. Make sure it is under the category non-fiction or study the book to just see if it is or not yourself.

BookTV on Cspan has a website (booktv.com) and they deal in nonfiction nationwide. I would check out their sales reports to get a national overview of what is selling. I believe USToday also publishes a national list.

try seraching for it on amazon and check out how it ranks on their sales too
