With everything we have as humanity, technology, etc. It's going to be the smallest thing that will devastate us all. I'm going with #3. Some sort of unmanageable virus will devastate if not anilelate the entire population. On a side note the Mayan calender ends at 2012. What does that mean?? Also, check out Web-Bot Project. This systems been making some pretty erie predictions. Sleep tight.

I don't believe in the idea of 'the apocalypse' or an 'end of he world' sceniaro. I believe the book of revelations was written at a time when Christians were being persecuted, and it was written FOR them (and I think it's a real possibility that the author was mentally ill). People just keep believing through the ages that it was written for them. And now, I am sure that the general population doesn't know a thing about the actual writing, just that there's an idea of 'The Apocalypse', and takes it as fact that there will be an 'end of the world'.

So... I pick none of your choices.

Global Apostasy. We already are seeing this combined with all the other signs in the sun, moon, and stars as well as on earth.Galaxies are smashing into one another. The sun is singing a magnetic funeral dirge.Earthquakes went from 30 or 40 per year a few decades ago to over 300 per month.WWIII was mapped out in 1871 and is ramping up on cue.The verichip is ready to be implanted in all humans once the cashless society commences. One World Government and Religion is a reality that will be officially announced to the world in the next decade.Whew, the list could go on and on.

You're a real rey of sunshine. It's my belief, though, that none of your proposed scenarios will precede an apocalypse and that such a pivotal moment will not eliminate the human race. Disasters may befall us, but the mighty live on to tell the tale.

I'd go with number 7. One of these days the Government is going to have to realize that those damned quantum mechanics should be licensed and certified just like doctors, lawyers, or aircraft pilots.

Actually I would say that is a good list, AND you seem to have listed in them in the order that I would consider most likely to least likely.

Altho in all fairness, you maybe should have included armageddon (the predicted act of God). Not that I would pick it but you are asking what people think.

Numbers 1 through 4 seem most likely.

The first 5 are possible, the last 2 are impossible.

no, no, no we will hit a cloud of antimatter, or what ever dark matter is will somehow get us. really you have to think outside the box, but we probably don't even know of many other ways to die, but i would go with 4, but it is made of antimatter... agreed?
