its 2007 Automatic G6 with 4 cylinder and I want to sound really nice. and is it good to put exhaust on automatic?
How much will it cost?

yes, its perfectly fine to put exhaust on an automatic.

the sound good part is questionable. seeing as though its a 4-banger, you might get the ricey sound if you go with ricer exhaust. i'd stick with Borla, or SLP.

that depends, if you get a full cat-back it can be expensive. i'd say $600-800. if you just get a high flow cat, custom piping, and a muffler, your looking at about $300.

You can put an exhaust on anything. I suppose you want it to be one of those loud, souped-up rubber band powered thingies... I used to have a crazy fast Talon with an intake and exhaust put on it. I didn't have the loud muffler because I figured if I was going to drive fast I shouldn't be attracting the police by making it loud, too. Oh well. Your preference, i guess.

Don't make it sound like a rice rocket. Get a flowmaster muffler and get it put on at a shop. About $150 installed. That will get you a nice sound and even a couple HP's.

Automatic is fine...
