Today my husband said that when i was pregnant i had a sweet smell to my body, and he told me im pregnant because i smell like it again, has anyone had this happen, is it true

i dont know but that sounds really sweet i think i would enjoy the fact that my husband was that intune with my body lol, well if you are preggo congrads

does he mean fruity smell? as a nurse we are taught to recognize certain odors. there is a medical condition that is associated with diabetes (diabetic ketoacidosis) in which the person gives off a fruity sweet smell like juicy fruit gum it can be serious. if you have ever had problems with diabetes i would have it checked out! if not just enjoy the fact that your husband thinks you smell great naturally.i would take a pregnancy test to see how well he knows you, it would be really interesting if he were right.

When the levels of hormones in your body change, you're going to have a smell change with it. Hormones effect everything from vaginal smell, body odor, acne, etc.
One of the signs of hormone problems in women is body odor, and the opposite way, I would imagine a smell change was still possible, although you're lucky it's a sweet smell!

I wish. My hormones changed with my first pregnancy and I had to wear men's deodorant to keep from stinking. It took 4 different deodorants before I found one that would work. Ewww!

It could be true after all we're like animals...we can sense things in different ways, my husband could actually "sense" when I was pregnate before I knew...and he was right both times!!!

my husband knew I was pregnant before I did. There was no surprise but to me. he said my 'energy' was stronger.
