I joined answers. yahoo because I had a question about our family dog. Then I became hooked on reading people's answers. Then I went to this level ---of wanting to answer questions. Now I am hooked!

I was doing a search on the Internet about fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome and among the list of possible answers was a link to a question on Y!A.
And that my dear was that. I was reeled in hook, line and sinker!!!
After initially asking health and diet related Q's I decided to have a roam around and a vast vista of Q&A opened up before me!!!
I learnt that there are a lot of very informative things and some very nice people on here BUT also the opposite is true.
There are some very silly, stupid and offensive things and nasty people on here but I guess thats just life isnt it!.

I honestly felt like I could contribute something. It's not that I have book knowledge, but I have common sense. ;-)
I love reading the questions! I know a lot of the people behind the questions are just looking for attention, but then who isn't? Some I ignore, but I try to answer as many as I can *because* everyone DOES deserve attention. Whether it's someone looking for a suggestion for a late night snack, or someone else wanting to know if it's okay to wash a sensitive part of the body...I feel everyone deserves an answer!
I'm a late night person myself, and if I can help someone with just one little answer, then I feel like I'm contributing something. I feel like my life is worthwhile!
Hey! Maybe I know something that someone else doesn't and when I say whatever it is that I know that they don't, they'll remember what it is for the rest of their life, and you know what? That feels really good to me. I was lucky enough to have wonderful grandparents, on both sides of my parents. One set taught me fishing, crocheting, singing, gardening, and reading the Bible, and the other set taught me my love of nature, crafting, quaint sayings, metals, proper etiquite, and both passed down the love of life.

Decode this lyrics " You light up my life"
Not a computer freak.
Was just passing by.
YA seemed to attract attention.
Took a peek.
Notice children were having communication problems.
Wonder why were they throwing pots and pans and pulling sling shots at the poor " Dirty old man" in US.
Notice the old man were star attraction too.
With knowledge that I had.
Were having fun with our creator's universal gifts of life.
In laying mouse trap.
With time our creator's mouse trap works on it own.
With "The mouse love the rice" falling into the trap.
Somehow the mouse seem to disappear.
In time understand what is community service.
What do you think?

Because it was an interesting forum for people to exchange information. There are so many different subjects, so many different opinions. It's relatively safe, as long as you don't take it seriously, & NEVER meet anyone personally. The cultural differences alone are worth looking into. The censorship thing bothers me, but as I don't like to see porno or read stuff about abusing children, I guess it's a necessary evil. Good Luck & Blessings

It was very interesting to me and I got to read other people's thoughts on things and I am quite the analyzer myself. So I jumped in and I've met some of the Sweetest people in the world since I've been on here! They have been a blessing to me, they know who they are to! At least I hope they do!

to try and help people to avoid making the same mistakes I have made in life.
To provide some humour and different perspective on peoples questions.

It seemed like a great way to laugh at stupid people. Well, people with stupid questions. It also appeared to be a good outlet for some sarcastic comments that people would more than often take offensively. And then I also realized I liked coming to Y!As because it was interesting to see other people's answers to questions I asked. Seeing other peoples' points-of-view really give you and idea of the individuals around you, and their maturity level, their intelligence level, their upbringing and their morals. All in all, good times. No cat fights yet!
