Ok you are going to have to go to a tool supply company and by the tool specially made to remove them. If their is a Granger in your area you might try them to see if they stock it. Other than that you will have to call a contractor who handles those types of security screws and have them come out and remove them.
Another alternative is to file them. When the slot is curved so the screw driver will slip off you will have to take a file and file them straight so the screwdriver won't slip off.
Or you can use a hacksaw and cut a new screw slot for your screw driver.

There is a special tool to remove them, but it may be too expensive to buy for one or two screws.
I would probably try filing the head of the screw smooth and then drilling out the head until the head was gone. This will allow you to remove the gate.
It may be hard as the screws may be stainless steel and that is very tough to file and drill.
Good luck.
you may be able to try something different.
before anything else. Try getting a small pair of vise grips, maybe the kind that are like needle nosed.
try to bity the sides of the screw so to clamp down and be able to turn the screw. Will probably only get a quarter turn each bite, but if it backs out then there you go. lots of work, but is worth a try.
Peace!

These are one way screws and are not made to come out. What you need is a sawz-all, you just run it along the inner rail of the iron back piece, the one against the wood frame and have someone hold the door while you do this. This is the way we do this. Then just leave the screws in.
If your going to put in a new gate then drill holes and use an EZ out.

company above post mentioned is spelled Grainger
Easiest way is to drill out the existing screws/bolts-really depends on what you are ultimately trying to do. If all you want to do is remove the security gate, grind off the heads and remove gate-then grind flush, paint.

Go to hardware store and buy an EZ OUT. Get a drill bit right for it. Drill out center then use EZ OUT to back screw out
