In every sense of the word yes, and they never rest literally!

Other than bugs and one celled things sharks are pretty much the oldest living species on the planet. They have survived through some of the harshest conditions Earth has thrown at them and came out the other side. I would say they pretty much developed their senses to a max. I mean christ they never even get sick. In fact the only time they do is in captivity.

It depends on what exactly what you mean by sensitive. Yes their senses are extremely sensitive like sight, sound smell, etc. However they are not that sensitive as much when it comes to things like changes in their environment.

Overall though, no sharks do not win the prize. That more or less goes to insects.

I think its a good guess, but you can't compare all creatures in the same way. Sharks are unbeatable in water, but a butterfly can notice phermomones from a distance up to 10 km. Bats can fly through a wire netting composed of wires smaller than 1 mm, just by using ultra sonic, and so on...

However due to the six senses I agree with your opinion.

they are quite sensitive. the have receptors at the tips of their noses that pick up magnetic fields enabling them to be much better predators. other animals can detect magnetic fields too, like homing pigeons, but not to the degree sharks can. in this respect, I would say yes. but I'm not exactly sure what you mean by sensitive.

No... I would say dogs are .... You can hurt their feelings with just a word or even a nasty look. If your referring to sensing food or activity, I just saw a special on elephants that said they have subsonic receptors in their feet that can pick up another elephants vocal rumblings miles and miles away. I've also seen where some birds have been migrating with magnetic signals. Flying through dense storms etc. with no possible navigational explanation. Sharks are cool too tho.

I believe panda bears are the most sensitive.
Sharks are way too violent to be sensitive!
