No, absolutely not---simply because the questions don't stay before other users long enough to even be noticed enough to draw serious consideration. Also, as you can see from the majority who have just answered, most people wouldn't pay for something that (although it is somewhat useful---when a serious answerer comes along) is basically just entertainment, and thus, chances would be less that there would be a sufficient number of people participating who would know the answer. So, numbers of participants on a free site is a disadvantage in that the question is only momentarily flashed before the public (because many many others are wanting to put questions up for consideration as well) and few numbers resultant to it being a pay site would be disadvantageous because there would be few people there to answer.

I would MAYBE only pay for quality answers of adequate amount of content. None of the responses such as "roxxors", "i have product x and it's great" without any explanation", or stuff that's rooted too much as common knowledge on the internet like how much does a Wii cost.

Stuff includes serious matters like careers, education, relationships, complex technology, investments, etc.

NO I WOULD NOT! Any opinion you have to pay for isn't worth anything. An opinion is only worth something if it's freely given. If you pay for it, the opinion can be slanted to whatever position the person paying for it wants. The only opinion that counts is one that is freely given, without fear of payment or retaliation of some kind. Good Luck & Blessings

To think I do actually pay to use Y!A, as my computer at home was down, I save money to go to the nearest internet cafe, and use Y!A...^_^
I know, I have no life...

No
Too much fluff to search through to reach substantive information.

Know of no sights one would pay to answer
Comparable to a vanity press.

We do pay to ask ~~~+~+~~~ with points!
If your talking cash - probably not. One thing though, there would be a lot better questions and fewer of them.
