I am really a compulsive liar, I lie about everything, I just make **** up all the time, I can't stop.
There is really no hope for me is there.

It all started with jokes, I never say anything to hurt people. I just say little things that don't matter such as if a store were open, but I didn't want to go there, I'd say it was closed.
But this has become a habit.

Well, im not a Psychologist, but being a compulsive lier can derive from two things... In your early childhood maybe some sort of repression in your parental den, made you well..propense to lie or to hide facts in order not to feel stress... or maybe it is indeed a mental disease, but whatever it is i would advice professional help as this is somethign that cant be dealt on the persons behalf.

There's hope, but you have to be committed to change. Write out a plan in baby steps, and take it one day at a time. Also, you need to figure out what lying does for you. Does it make you feel superior to others? Do you enjoy the thrill? Because you have to find some thing to do that's healthier, and replace the bad behavior with good behavior.

A person who is a compulsive liar needs to seek help from a psychologist or therapist. Behavior therapy or cognitive-behavior therapy is generally used to treat this type of problem. These treatment methods have proved to be very effective.

There is, its not easy but you HAVE to tell everyone you have been lying and get them to keep you accountable for your actions.
If you really want to change prepare to earn back trust in close relationships.
