my friend's husband is abroad. he advised her to apply for a job in the same country he's in. unfortunately,my friend is and undergraduate and is right now jobless and is taking care of their 2 children. she has no time to apply for a job locally, since her hands are full taking care of the children. and yet, her husband wants her to apply for that job, and use her sister's credentials as her own. in other words, he wants her to submit the documents of her sister and pass them as her own credentials.(sis is a college grad).he just asked her to photcopy the docs and change the name. my friend doesnt want to, but his husband is talking her into it every day, to the point that they were now fighting bec of that.her husband said that she should just follow his instructions bec he's the husband and therefore, she must obey. my friend cud bring the kids with her if she gets accepted at that job. what do u think?

She should not do it. Even if she can pull it off at some point she will be found out. Then she'll be in trouble. And it will be her in trouble not her husband. She can't just say "my husband made me do it" and get off.

I think he is trying to control her and I suspect that may be a country where she may lose a lot of freedoms that has here. Is this by some chance a country where women are looked down upon? For example, Iran,Iraq, or that part of the world?
the fact that he took the job there while his wife was still here seems to me to be an act of desertion and grounds for divorce on her part and while she may have to get a job if she files for divorce and he will not willingly pay child support, she may still be better off by working and going to school part time, or look into a scholarship which would give her the money to concentrate upon school. Using a forged document though can only lead to problems. For example, if she were to get over there and decide to leave him and come back, she would not be able to get into the country without her own passport and the job over there may ask for a passport as well as the credentials. she is better off staying where she is and telling him to come home or she is going to file for divorce.

Your friend's husband and her brother in law are idiots to think such a foolsilly plan would even work. So, do the boys have a "Plan B" in case your friend gets busted for submission of fraudlent job application facts AND identity theft?

One can logically assume getting busted in another country may land your friend in THEIR jail or prison system. So where does THAT put the 2 kids????

Tough as things are for her stateside, she should stay here and focus on finding better work opportunities.

I understand both sides of this. He just wants to be with his family and is willing to break the law to accomplish that. I can't say that I blame him. I also understand her not wanting to go using a false name and dragging her kids to a new place with no support system in place. It's just a crap situation any way you look at it. I would advise the husband to come home. Unless he's military, then I don't know what I'd do.

Big risk. i say no. first of all, the documents are forge and anything goes wrong will miss them the entire chance of being together or worst will land them both to jail...hmmn...now who takes care of the kids? and what happen to their marriage?not to mention the expenses they'll need should they be summon for falsification of public documents. why not he spend on her getting a degree whilst taking care of the kids and visit them every now & then. Sacrifice for a few more years is a better bet & safer than wanting a quick solution with a 100% risk & failure.

What about her sister who sweat it out in college to get her degree?doesn't she has any plans for her life?

If he advised your friend to apply for the job in the country where her husband is doing job also, if it is possible for your friend to get a job in the same country, then he is right and it will be better for your friend to apply for and get the job as advised by her husband.

She needs to stand her ground and tell him "NO."

This cold land her in big trouble, especially if she's overseas when the comany catches the lie.

Depending on where he is there are other jobs she could apply for, if he bothered looking for one she is qualified for. Or he could move them over as dependants...she won't have a job there, but they'll be together.

it might certainly of helped in case you will named some, as i won't think of of one clever theist off hand. i understand statistically there are some available, I do exactly no longer in my view understand of any. As for the 'god' debate, that's quite purely with the abrahamic faiths, no longer different theism, no, it has no benefit. And purely because of the fact there are some clever people who have confidence it does no longer make any settlement made by using them or different theists any further valid. additionally, i think you're somewhat a theist.

Falsification of documents is a very serious offense and it will affect her credibility - and it will be X10 if you are in a foreign country. All the more it will be harder for her in the long run.

I'd be getting rid of the corrupt husband as he sounds like he's bad news.
