I would get rid of TV show songs. Remember the one from "FRIENDS"? It evoked vomit.

All artist's music who covers popular songs from the 70's and 80's thinking they can fool the younger listeners into thinking it's something fresh.
Write your own damn songs and stop butchering the classics!

Heavy metal. all that screaming and yelling. can't even here if they have a nice voice. a two year old can do the same thing. I prefer to hear the music and the instruments.
Also Rap thats not singing just talk fast and make a bunch of mumbo jumbo words and put them together with a beat in the back ground.

Rap. Hip-hop. Whatever that garbage is that sounds like all the other garbage in the same genre. I would also get rid of all award show musical openers. AND any country music that whines. You know, Like Tammy Wynette? I know that a lot of people loved her, but she always reminded me of a sick cat that needed to be put out of it's misery. Good Luck & Blessings

I would never think of abolishing any music.
Although I may not prefer it myself, someone obviously does enjoy it and who am I or who is anyone to censor what someone wants to listen too.
I happen to like almost any music, but if I don't I just turn it off or lower the volume.

All of the girls that sound alike, Britney, Christine A., Madonna, Beyonce, etc....all the pop stars sound like each other. Also, rap and hip hop.

Rap. I love rock and some screamo, but when that's all bands do and they sound like CRAP. they should be abolished. Try actually singing for once. Like Silverstein. I love them. I love a lil screaming but passion and real singing in it as well.

Screaming + emo = screamo. If they want so badly to get out a message, why can't they just sing it instead of shrieking it? I wouldn't mind it if I could actually understand what they're trying to say
