One is cheating emotionally, the other is cheating physically.
There is no difference. It's cheating.

That depends upon your moral compass. Jesus said that if you look a woman with lust in your heart it is a sin. Sin is sin and no one sin is better or worse than another.
Think about this: 2 people missed the last boat off the volcanic island. One missed it by a minute while the other missed it by a day. Which one was in more trouble.
When two people are joined as a couple they pledge their "everything" to one another. Mind, spirit, body, resources, etc. To give any of those shared things to another is a compromise of trust.

Cybering is a form of Internet Erotica, that tends to flex one's imagination and writing skills; given matters don't cross legal lines that has you on Dateline NBC.
Given the other you cyber chat with with lives hundreds or thousands of miles to where there's ZERO chance of meeting up---what's the harm? Just make sure they write in (for transcript record) that they are at least 21 years old (so consent age is covered for ALL states).
Cybering is NOT cheating by any means.
Engaging in adultery, however--even once, can and sometimes does carry tragic divorce court penalties. That IS cheating--and you'll tear your lady's paper lace heart. And with children involved, those penalties can be costly for at least 18 years.

I am female in under hubbys name.... Heck I let him look all he wants, he doesn't chat.. but if he did.. I would not mind. He feels the same about me... Just remember... what is good for the goose is good for the gander.... Now if he cheated physically... revenge is sweet and I would super glue it to his hand or leg. Also I bet most women can get 10 times more men looking their way than men can get women.

Actually one is a "virtual fantasy".
It causes no more harm than having the same thoughts.
The real encounter has one acting upon the fantasy.
It invites potential exposure to STD and the encumbrances of location, others, money, etc.
If one is in a committed relationship, the partner may not be knowledgeable of fantasy being normal, therefore not accepting.

Sounds like the mind has committed adultery in both cases, whether the body followed through or not.
Not committing Adultery is one of the 10 commandments.

Cheating is cheating, from the flesh or from the heart.. its not right ..
Need you really ask?
Turn it around and ask yourself how you would feel if you loved and trusted someone.. not good huh?
