For halloween the guys in my family are going as the Thunderbirds from Grease and would like to add the logo to the back of their leather jackets but do not want to ruin them and don't want it to be permanent. Any suggestions?

well...i think something that will work is stickers. If you go to Micheals or your local craft store they have big and i mean big size stickers. they look like iron ons but they are stickers and they will stick to shirts and jackets. then for the bird see if they have a sticker of it, if not you could print a bird out and maybe tape it to the back of the jacket. thats the only thing i can think of!!! hope this helps and good luck!!!

Don't do anything to the leather jackets. You will regret it later.
Make an iron on transfer of the logo and iron it on a tee shirt they all could wear. You can get this kind of paper at the local craft store, or an office supply store.

Contact a dry cleaners to see what you could put on leather without ruining it. They can also tell you what would clean the leather afterwards. If you do not want to ruin a good jacket, check with resale shops or goodwill to see if they have jackets (cheap) that you could put the letters on. Then you could use it again in years to come or donate it back to goodwill for someone else.

You could try double sided stick tape. and when you are done, take some type of cleaner to undo it. OR when you are taping it to the jacket, put a small piece of cardboard at some point along the tape so that way you will be able to lift it off of the jacket when you are done. and then go back and clean it with some lexol.
