Not exactly cause for a Celebration, mind you. But there ought to be something to acknowledge the Centennial of the last time the Chicago Cubs won the pennant.
Not that I'm knocking the Cubs. Anybody can have a bad hundred years.

Do you really think the Chicago Cubs fans will really want to celbrate 100 years of thier team not winning the World Series. I bet that will want to celbrate if thier team does win the World Series, but I doubt that the Chicago Cubs will win the World Series. Now I bet there will be an event if the Chicago Cubs make the playoffs again in 2008, like they did this year, but of course they did there partying to soon, they migth really want to wait until the fact if the Chicago Cubs do end thier drought.

Unless they sign Tinker, Evers, Chance and Steinfeld as their infield they will have to wait a few more years. How they ever reached first with that defense I will never know. Its also about time to give up on Wood and Prior.
