How do i do sql statments in Access 2007?

Question

For example i need to write something like
select * from table;

I have been messing around with Access 2007 and can't figure it out. Or if anyone knows of a free program that I can use to practice sql statements that would be helpful too.

Create a new query and then click view, SQL view. You can now input your SQL statements.
