Has anyone bought a laptop from Amazon.com? Would you recommend buying from them?

In the past I only bought computers from real stores and not online stores. I am a bit uneasy about buying the computer online but currently Amazon offers the best price. How is their service if something doesn't work with the computer?

You won't be buying an Amazon laptop - Amazon merely handles the transaction. I deal with Amazon a lot and have had no problem so far. Just be sure you buy a brand that has been in business for a while and which has a good reputation for support -- like Dell, HP, Compaq, Toshiba ...
