This would totally depend on your area of education and expertise in your particular field.

I would suggest that you go to www.indeed.com. They have a salary calculator, by city, that you can use. It asks you for an occupation. Be specific and you should be able to come pretty close.

I have found that Senior Scientists are always well paid, whatever their field.

I think if you don't get good answers on here by tomorrow night, you need to go to another category to find this answer.Maybe there's a category for scientists..I haven't looked. How about "Science and Math" category? They have lots of sites on that category..just keep clicking different ones.Good Luck!! Glad your still enjoying working. Hope you can get the salary you want.
