If I give a girl corner time after her spanking - or more likely as an interlude between spankings - I don't really care whether her nose is touching the wall or not. So long as she's facing it, hands on head and no rubbing, and I can view her rosy, well-spanked bottom-cheeks, that's all that matters.
But if you insist on the nose-touching thing, then hoptoad's got the best idea: holding a small coin to the wall with your nose. If it drops, you're in trouble.

Yes because I have a special corner set up with a sensor that I clip to your hand that forms a circuit when your nose touches the wall. If you move away from the wall and break contact, an alarm will sound and a bucket of water will fall on your head.
Not really, but the theory is sound.

Corner standing with one's nose in it is NOT an effective punishment for child misbehavior. Then again, the new politically correct methods are worth trashing as well.
I've had it done a time or two growing up; I just never knew of any positive purpose it served.

You can just usually tell. When I put my neice and nephews into the corner they must have their noses touching the corner or as much into it as they can. Since they are still younger it's harder for them but as long as their facing the corner not turning around I leave it at that.

First, your nose would be squished and Secondly, the blood in your nose would disperse and there would be a white spot on the end of your nose for a few seconds until the blood came back when you came off the wall.

Because if you did'nt know by then to obey my order to the letter...if I even had a stray thought that that nose was apart from the wall,you would be on the receiving end of a barrage of expertly delivered swats with my "board of education" wooden paddle!!!

I suppose I would ask you a question and if your voice didn't sound muffled I would know you weren't squished up against the wall all the way.
And if you told me to do that, we would have a big fight and you would see my face not looking near a wall!

oh that's very simple. I like to watch a naughty girl while shes in the corner and give her an additional swat on her bottom every once in a while to keep her on her toes and make sure she's behaving herself.... and yes I'd know if you where touching....
