Two weeks as chief wahoo and most people have forgotten that Georgie Porgie is THE consummate Detroit sports fan. The fact is that the Yankees have not gotten past the ALDS since 2004, the pattern has been set for the last few years. Now they, like so many other teams, have to go through a rebuilding period while they bring up rookies and gradually acquire free agents. What do you think of Barry Bonds as the Yankees new DH?

no they are not.. jeter and aholerod were at the golf course just this afternoon.. theyre both pretty good golfers, but jeter wanted to bet that he could do the hole in less shots than aholerod, so they bet 20 bucks at the tee...jeter shot first, went a long ways...he makes the mistake of heading to his ball before aholerod teed off, but on the side of the fairway.. aholerod yells, FORE! and lo and be hold the pressure of trying to win the hole made him shank the ball.. when the ball was coming down it hit jeter right in the head and knocked him out...when jeter woke up and regained his senses, he clocked aholerod in the sack with his 3 wood resulting in a loud howl from aholerod, all the while screaming something about wanting to play with and for real winners, the baltimore orioles.... after about an hour of icing his sack, aholerod was overheard to say: i need to get away from this maniac and all the pressure...hmm.. the chicago cubs sound pretty nice.. i know there wont be many post seasons there....

Hey Dylan, the Red Sox can remember a LOT of second places.
Indians new slogan......
"'20 and '48 in '07"
The ghosts of Ray Chapman watches over the Tribe.

I wonder who will be the new Bill Buckner this year. Sorry Sox fans, all the blow this year will be a lot of hot air.

No, not really. I hear they are getting beaten by the Tigers, who had a head start on the Yankees this year.

Nice!

Our Indians have one of the lowest team salaries which proves money doesn't buy results.
