Girl where I come from,Christmas shopping and sales started in the Summer.Namely the month of July and Sales are still on or starting.lol

My mom is finished shopping and so too is most of my Aunts. All they have to get now is food stuff for Christmas which will be bought at a later date.

I personally have a few more Items to get.I have a very picky sister who cahnges her wish every two minutes so I usually shop for her on Christmas eve.

Glad to know you are alomost done and if we dont meet again on this site,well...Merry Christmas and Happy holidays.May your season be filled with joy, laughter, peace and goodwill.May the arms of loved ones provide warmth for you and may you provide for somone else also.

Have a safe one..smile

I think Christmas is too overrated and everyone has lost the true meaning of Christmas. People spend thousands of dollars and a week after Christmas all the gifts are piled in a closet and forgotten about. And everyone is so irritable in December. I'm glad I don't do Christmas shopping.

did you say you are almost done!!! wow, want to do mine for me? I have 4 kids of my own so I had better start - because I haven't! One of my children has his birthday 2 days after christmas too!

I just give a "family" gift to the adults - you know, like a nice hamper, or something they can share.

I'm gonna start this next week. My husband and I started this tradition a couple of years ago. We go to walmart and k-mart, and put everything on layaway. Then I'v go a month or so to pay it off. We usually pay it off about a week before x-mas. The really good thing about doing it this way is when you get your stuff its all in plain cardboard boxes... That way the kids cant see whats in it!
