I'm trying to learn this Algebra, so please try your best to explain to me how you get your answer, so I can use it to aid myself in doing this on my own. I really do appreciate anyones assistance. =)

Center to edge is radius. Edge to edge across the center would be diameter. Area = Pi times the square of radius, so 6 squared is 36 and Pi is 3.14159 . . . and multiply them you get a little over 36 x 3 = 108 so D is the correct answer.

113.04 because you would have A=pi(r squared) so a= 3.14 x 6 x6. answer D

The formula to calculate the area of a circle (like a CD) is pi x r^2
