They all have terrible side effects. Be very careful. The pill made a girl I know blind and several other awful things were wrong with her. I hope that you will research all of the side effects before taking them.

If it is the wrong dose/type for your body, it can cause depression to set in, or a chronic PMS feeling. IF that happens, tell your doctor and try another formula.
Also, any of the side effects of pregnancy you could feel..tenderness, bloating, fatigue....but these usually don't last.

The pill I was on some 20 years ago caused minor weight gain but my periods became lighter and shorter- it was worth the trade.

Yes, read the little paper insert that comes with the pack or ask at the pharmacy.
Different brands have diffrent formulas so different side effects.....

depends on which one you use. plus its different for every woman....im on the pill (alesse) and i get spotting, which is bleeding for a few days before my actual period, i get emotional more easily, my breasts are more tender after my period...thats about all i noticed really
but u def need to talk to a doctor, he or she will give you the best advice
and dont forget that the pill doesnt protect against STDs so use a condom regardless!!!!

Well it depends on what the pill is and it also depends on the person. Different people react in different ways to meds.

Yes it will make you sick to your stomach for the first couple of months you take it.
Lots of people experience clearer skin on it (I am in that category) a huge benefit.
