Is there a difference between sport coats, blazers, and suit jackets?? If so, could you elaborate?? Thanks.

A sport coat is the same thing as a blazer, just a different name. The difference between sport coats and suit jackets are that sport coats are tend to be made out of studier materials such as wool, and tweed---because of this they are meant to be worn on their own. Suit Jackets, are part of the three piece or two piece ensemble.

1] Suit coats go with a suit.That's it.
2] Jackets and blazers are not part of a suit.
3] The difference between blazers and jackets is blazers have notched lapels; jackets don't.

Different tools for different occasions. They look similar but serve different purposes. Sports coats for casual affair, blazer is a little more formal, and suit jacket only goes with a complete suit.
