Hey. **** all of you. I am a professional dancer. I am not a whore! When I am out side of work, I am me! A mom, a student, a girlfriend. I don't use drugs, and I don't sleep with customers. And I don't call myself a stripper. A stripper is an attitude. And a crapy one at that. Those chicks give all dancers a bad name.
My answer to you, Marrying a dancer is OK as long as you can deal with the jelousy factor. Just make sure the chick doesn't have a stripper attitude. ie. drugs, alcohal.

Wow...that's really a loaded one and I'm not going to tell you how I know the answer to this one...let's just say it's because I'm brilliant. That said, the general consensus is that strippers have the IQ of a throw rug and that for the most part is a fairly true statement. That said, I can't wait to hear the proper elocution of all the strippers who are going to answer this question as well as bash the hell out of me...anyway, moving on... The stereotypical stripper is one who has little if any education, doesn't carry herself properly in social settings and can pack for an entire month in one tiny sholderbag. That said, this type of woman would NOT be the type to bring home to mom. However, there are some strippers and former strippers who are educated, bright, have a sense of humor, are or would be wonderful parents and would be an asset as a wife. These women would be those white elephants, if you will. Perhaps the one who was for a time in the profession in order to say, support a child while at the same time attending law school at UF, maybe? Yes, this one would most likely make a wonderful wife. So long as she doesn't still go by the name, "Miss Sticky Bunns" or "Miss Rosie Cheeks."

WOW -- look at everyone putting down the stripper!

Just because a woman is a stripper doesn't make her a whore or non-marriage material. Try walking a mile in her shoes before you pass judgment.

I think that all people should be given a chance. Whose to say that a stripper can't commit herself to one man? Think of the advantages -- you could have a stripper pole in your bedroom and shows just for you.

Just like anything else, it depends on the person! Many attractive women can make tons more money stripping for pathetic idiots than any other job they are qualified for...it doesn't automatically mean they are sluts or bad people. It's not necessarily a "lifestyle" any more than people with more mainstream jobs have a "clerical lifestyle" or a "retail lifestyle". Often it's just a JOB. (And really, how many non-stripper marriages have happy endings nowadays anyway?) Strippers should be judged on an individual basis just like anybody else.

at the same time as in an particularly determined monetary difficulty, you mustn't be making any judgements to prance round in part wearing the front of drooling adult adult males. determined human beings do determined issues. And, it quite is once you're susceptible and commence making blunders. this isn't a sturdy idea for you. surgical procedure is 1000's upon 1000's of funds. A health practitioner will preform a surgical procedure and bill the affected man or woman to repay the debt in time. do not use that as an excuse to disrespect your self and droop right down to a strippers factor of desperation.

Strippers usually have issues with men and are bi sexual.

Strippers love money that's why they are taking off their clothes. They can never be happy in a normal paying job or with the average Joe, so they will never turn their backs on large amounts of money.

A lot of strippers do drugs.

Strippers have no respect for themselves or their bodies and would find it very easy to cheat on you with a guy that has money.

Imagine telling the mother, friends, your wife to be is a stripper? And what about the poor kids. No kid wants a stripper or prostitute for a mother, how shamefull.

First of all i was a dancer for three years and have since quit and started a family. I quit when I realized that to have honest relationships with myself and my partner dancing had to go. just cause she is a dancer doesn't mean u have to tell the whole world. Respect her as a person and not an object and your relationship can go far. And miss kitty u need a reality check .. no all "stripper" are whores with drug problems, i think its time to leave your glass house.

The only reason it wouldn't be a good idea is right in your question. If you expected her to "change her lifestyle" then you're headed for disaster ... and frankly it doesn't matter that she is a stripper -- it is your attitude that she has to change. If she was a lawyer and you wanted her to change YOU would be just as wrong.

My buddy married a stripper 4 years ago and he seems happy. She still strips though. It would take someone far better than I to make something like that work.
