If you forget your friend's name, what else would you say?

Like for me: I would say, "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey.......You....How's it going?"
Or would you be the type of person to just ask, "What's your name, I forgot." I don't do that, because then I'd feel like an idiot...

I always say Person, they dont care, because its like a nickname i have with them. I feel so stupid sometimes, but they never know i forget their names!

I usually ask. I say, dang it, the brain gremlins misfiled your name in the wrong part of my head! Would you please tell me your name again. I feel like an idiot, but I just can't remember.

They usually laugh and admit they didn't remember mine either and were grateful that I asked first! LOL We all forget names now and again. We're stressed, running around at break neck speed. Some of our information gets blown out the windows now and again. It's natural. :)

I say "Duuuuuuude" a lot... or I tell them I forgot how to pronounce their name. But usually their name is "Bob" or "Bill", so I DO wind up looking like an idiot.

Well, if their my friend I don't exactly forget their name, but if it's just someone I sort of know and I can't remember their name, I usually just say "Dude," "You," "Love," or something like that.

I would say "dude and act relatively excited", thus putting away any doubt as to whether I knew his name.

If it was a girl, I would just say "wow" you haven't changed a bit, maybe even more gorgeous then I remember.

I'd say "Hey...... everyone, look who it is...." and hope someone says a name.

:::BY MYSELF:::
I'd say "Hey you, what's going on at home?" and hope they say something that jogs my memory and I'd remember. Or I'd ask, during the conversation if my memory doesn't jog "What's your number?" and have them tell me and I'd search through my phone and hope for a name.

Chances are...if it's been long enough for me to forget theirs....they've probably forgotten mine also. Lol

i jst say hi, how are you etc and jst keep their name out of the sentence and wen i find sumone else who nows them i ask them, becoz i dont like asking ppl personally escpecially wen ive become friends with them

usually i dont forget friends names...id be a bad friend.
i usually forget acquaintances names...then i just ask them. no skin off my back, its all good
