First, I'm sorry for your loss.
Now then, that having been heartfelt said, what lie? The historical facts and evidence tell us that the likelihood of WMD being found (and we have since found some -- several times) in Iraq was excepetionally great.
-- Carter gutted the CIA -- we were left blind
-- Reagan sold WMD to Iraq
-- Iraq used WMD on Iran and the Kurds
-- An Iraqi chemical engineer defected claiming Saddam was making more WMD.
-- Iran has announced that they are ready to fill the vacuum of leadership in Iraq when the U.S. pulls out.
-- Iran exports terrorism and is behind the insurgency in Iraq
-- Iran hates the liberal west and given the opportunity will do everything within its power to do great harm to western interests (the world economy runs on oil)
About war it can be said, that old men make decisions and that young men die because of those decisions. Ours is an all volunteer force. Anyone of us who has raised our right hand and swore the oath must have known in the back of our minds that there is always the possibility that we may be called upon to go to war. Anyone who has raised their right hand and denies that is either a damned fool or a liar or both.
As it is currently, I suspect that you are overwhelmed with a rush of emotion: sadness, loss and frustration. Now is not the best time to make decisions. Asking people to stop supporting a war that will either make or break the world's economy is not only il-advised, it would (for you) mean your brother's death was for absolutely nothing.

I wish I could give you a hug. Do not let the idiots that are not smart enough to figure out what is going on get you down.
There are some people that are not intelligent enough to figure out how bad this Administration and this war are for America and Americans.
Just keep speaking out against this Administration and their actions. If we force the Republicans to but their Bi-Partisan bickering aside and voting with the Democrats to end this war and restore our Constitution and Civil Rights.
Keep writing your Congressman/woman and calling them about issues we want them to vote as our Representatives, not what they want, but what WE THE PEOPLE want!
You should Read the book "Worse Than Watergate" By John Dean. You will be totally disgusted when you find out what exactly this Administration did to sell this war to us, and that was just before the last Presidential election.

Also read Conservatives without Conscience by the same author.
These can both be checked out of the Library.

Sometimes the best way todeal with our feeling of helplessness, is to take action:

I am sorry for your loss. It shows how we are all connected in some way. It also shows that there are people out there willing to give up their lives for a bigger cause. As painful as it must be for you, and without belittling the life of a soldier, there is more to the picture than life and death for a relatively small number of soldiers.

I'm sorry for your pain. I have loved ones serving over there and I support them by trying to let them get the job done. Those 3600 boys didn't want to die for nothing, I know that.

We lost Randy on July 9. Bush didnt kill him, a terrorist did. Randy knew why he was there (4th tour in the middle east). He even volunteered to go despite the fact that he was due to retire. He died so that others might live. I am proud of his sacrifice and will always honor his memory. Be proud of your brother and let no one soil his memory, honor, or sacrifice. I understand your pain, believe me. Randy was a rare soul and will be missed. But his loss was the price of defending freedom, which you unfortunately have learned, is never free. God bless you and your family.

I'm sorry for your loss Ive also known many Friends who died there and attended many memorial services myself.
and while i don't want to belittle your loss , all i can do is vote for Ron Paul because he is the only one running for president that wants a immediate withdrawal, he wants all the troops home from all around the world , not just Iraq and Afghanistan
god bless in your time of loss.

I'm sorry for your loss, but I have to ask, what was your brother's view on this? Also, many troops go over their to help people, and they know it.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You are right. The troops need to come home. Enough is enough. I voted for Bush too. I wish I hadn't. Please take care of yourself. My prayers go out to you and your family.
