"a farewell to arms" by hemingway. It has love and war, a emotionally compelling novel about love during a time of war. I thought it was emotionally compelling at parts, especially near the end.

The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks, that was such a good book and I just cried and cried over the ending.
I don't read all his books, actually I am a huge fan of Nora Roberts and Janet Evanovich but I have to say Sparks puts out some really good books. I haven't read anyone that gets to the heart of it quite like him yet.

Night- by Eli Wiesel
I read that in eighth grade adv english (before I flunked out, haha) and it was one of the most amazing books I've ever read. It was about the Holocaust ( i hope i spelled that right) and I didn't think I'd like it. But it was amazing, it was disturbing and emotional. It's just so sad what happened to those people.

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
I BAWLED, it was so good, it reminded me somewhat of me and my boyfriend although its not really the same situation at all. its by the author of the Notebook and is easy to read. I loved this book. its a beautifully written love story between a girl named Savannah and John and their journey through falling in love and growing apart due to his placement overseas in the service and his duty to serve his country after September. This book is about making choices with underlying themes of acceptance (with his father) and becoming a better person

Life is so good is a memoir of a man that learned to read at 98 yrs old. I became really attached to him. There is always the tear jerker of all tear jerkers the Notebook.
